Stepido ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information in our Stepido app ("App") available on iPhone and Apple Watch.
Stepido does not collect, store, or transmit any personal information to external servers. All data remains on your device.
The App accesses the following data solely on your device:
Stepido reads step count data from Apple HealthKit. We do not write any data to HealthKit. HealthKit data is never used for advertising, never shared with third parties, and never leaves your device.
All app data including step history, streak counts, and preferences are stored locally on your device. We do not operate any servers or databases that store your personal information.
The App generates diagnostic log files stored locally on your device to help troubleshoot technical issues. These logs do not contain personal health data. Logs are automatically deleted after 14 days. You can manually delete logs at any time from the Settings screen within the App. Log export is initiated only by you and only shared with parties you choose.
Stepido sends local notifications for step milestones and weekly summaries. These notifications are generated entirely on your device and do not involve any external servers.
The App includes an Apple Watch companion app that communicates with your iPhone using Apple's WatchConnectivity framework. No data is transmitted to external parties through this communication.
Stepido is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect any information from children under 13.
Stepido does not integrate any third party analytics, advertising, or tracking SDKs.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
